What surveillance 2 approaches In its first month of life, the game is steadily earning its place as the successor to the original. Supervision. The game still has its fair share of hiccups and bugs, leading to more than one hero being temporarily removed from the game altogether. Blizzard aims to address a number of issues and introduce new content to the game in an upcoming patch. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming October 25 patch surveillance 2.

Bastion and Torbjörn are back

On October 10, less than a week after the release of surveillance 2, Blizzard completely removed the hero Bastion from the game, and Torbjörn was banned from competitive play. Both had to do with issues with each hero’s specific abilities that significantly broke the game. Bastion’s ultimate allows the hero to fire three artillery shells anywhere on the map, the bug made Bastion players able to fire as many artillery shells as they wanted during the ultimate.

However, after a major overhaul, they are both set to go completely back to surveillance 2 and competitive play with the October 25 patch. Blizzard confirmed this in an official forum post.

return a map

At the same time that Bastion and Torbjörn were removed from surveillance 2, so was the Junkertown map. First featured in 2017 at Gamescom for the original SupervisionJunkertown has become one of the most loved maps in the game.

The map was removed due to a bug that caused “graphics performance issues” according to Blizzard. However, according to the forum post mentioned above, Blizzard will re-introduce Junkertown to surveillance 2 in the October 25 update.

Junkenstein’s Revenge… Again!

With less than a week to go until Halloween, many live service games are fully embracing the holiday spirit with limited-time events. Supervision is no stranger to festive events, and surveillance 2 is bringing back the beloved Halloween event Junkenstein’s Revenge.

surveillance 2The first special event will kick off on October 25 and give players access to the Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride PVE game mode, plus the chance to unlock or purchase a host of appropriately spooky skins and accessories for your favorite hero. Nerfs and buffs

As a live service team based shooter surveillance 2 it will be constantly updated to correct any imbalances. Since the October 25 update is the game’s first major patch, there will likely be some nerfs and buffs for heroes. While the official patch notes haven’t been released in full by Blizzard, there are a few things we do know.

A solution is coming for Zarya impossible to kill.Snow storm

One fix that will definitely arrive on October 25 is a specific change to Zarya. Specifically, the hero will receive an update on how he plays in Total Mayhem mode. This mode is exactly what it sounds like: all heroes have double health, abilities cool down faster, and ultimates charge faster. For Zarya, this makes her nye unkillable. His bubble ability has a shorter cooldown than the ability’s actual duration, meaning not much can be done to remove it. This will be changed in the October 25 patch.

As for other nerfs and buffs we may see heroes in competitive play, Blizzard insists there won’t be any. In a blog post, the team announced that there will be no fixes for the game until Season 2, which begins in December. “While some heroes perform better than others and there are differences between player skill levels, we are pleased to see that no hero’s overall power level is too far off our goals,” the blog post reads.

However, 2 months without major fixes seems like a long time. Leaks suggest this statement may not end up being so true, with possible nerfs for Genji and Sombra. The Overwatch League will be played with a balance patch during the playoffs starting on October 30. If this patch is implemented in pro play, it is likely that these changes will also be applied to all servers with the update on October 25.
